Paws
to Read Summer Reading Program Begins Soon!
We’re all waggin’ our tales in anticipation of the 2014 Paws to Read summer
reading program. Children ages preschool
thru grade 6 are invited to participate at any East Central Regional Library
branch. Younger children may have an
adult or older child read to them. A tween/teen
program will also be offered at each branch.
Stop by the library and pick up a flyer listing all the activities and
events offered this summer for kids and teens alike. All activities are free and open to the
public.
To kick-off the Paws to Read program, Cock-a-Doodle Zoo
will be bringing animals from their zoo in Scandia, MN. including an African
porcupine, wallaby and alligator. Cock-a-Doodle
Zoo is licensed by the USDA and the MN DNR, a member of the Zoological
Association of America and is fully insured.
The program is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural
Fund.
So pounce, jump, or spring over
to any East Central Regional Library branch and “paws” to discover all the fun
and excitement that awaits you at your ECRL this summer!
